Perfectly pleasant overall experience. Fine place to stay with fab food. Exceptional service, parking on site. Picturesque location adjacent to the round the corner from the Abbey, the river and the other' breakfast' pub in a stunning area. ...  

The room we booked was new-fashioned and quiet with a comfortable bed, the bathroom, as example. The food was brilliant, with plenty of options.

During my recent two-night stay, I loved how friendly the staff were and how large and clean my room was, making it a very comfortable base for walking to nearby gems like the beautiful Lacock Abbey just 500 meters away and the serene King George V Park only a 5-minute stroll away.

Couples looking for a cozy spot

Honestly, the back garden it was just lovely and peaceful, like a hidden oasis. And the staff, they were cute, you reminded me of family, makes the whole stay worth it.

Wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was decent enough for what you get.

The staff were accommodating was nice. One drawback, however, was the lack of breakfast onsite, which required a short stroll to another location.

The George Inn offers a spacious and well-decorated room with a very comfortable bed. The selection of soaps was excellent, and the overall ambiance feels airy and inviting. The food served in the pub was excellent, further enhancing the experience....

Super comfy beautiful double room with a nice shower and heated bathroom. Everything was clean and freshly decorated. Staff was super friendly. Loved the little touches like the electric kettle with tea and cookies. The courtyard was a chill spot to hang out. Parking was free and easy to access. Had a great time exploring the area.

Charming historic atmosphere with friendly staff

The attentive staff made sure all my needs were met and offered great dining recommendations with the food being really good. The peaceful back garden provided a perfect spot to relax after exploring the picturesque village. The breakfast arrangement could be better, as it's not served onsite.

The kids enjoyed the spacious atmosphere, and the staff were accommodating, even with two babies in tow.

In my wife's opinion, the facilities could use a play area for toddlers.

Charming pub atmosphere with cozy rooms.

I stayed for a couple of nights, mainly to explore the nearby attractions like the charming St Cyriac's Church and the historic Lacock Abbey. The room was spacious, clean, and very warm, which made for a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The food and beer selections were excellent as well, with a lovely atmosphere in the pub. I found it inconvenient that breakfast was not available onsite and had to go to another pub.

The location of the hotel is magnificent, next to road and public transport and restaurant. They offer brand-new, a nice size rooms with the bathroom, a comfortable bed. - the food is great and fab.
